Power Plant Technician

Duties Assist in daily operations in a small closed-loop power plant test facility in Mishawaka, Indiana. Responsibilities include various tasks related to valve flow testing operations, such as plant set-up, valve operation, data collection, maintaining/analyzing water chemistry, monitoring and analyzing loop operations, troubleshooting equipment problems, and routine maintenance on valves, pumps, boilers, plant instrumentation, and other plant equipment. Responsibilities will also include performing/coordinating routine maintenance and upgrades of plant equipment and electronic instrumentation.
Experience Minimum three years.

Experience working with mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, or instrumentation in a power plant or industrial environment is desired. Experience maintaining electrical (115, 220, and 440 VAC as well as DC) and plant control signal (air and electronic) systems, using electrical measurement equipment, and computer software packages is desirable.
Degree Associate Degree in engineering technology or technical field.
Travel Occasional (less than 10%)

U.S. citizenship required.   Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
