Materials, Metallurgical or Welding Engineer

Duties May include a combination of several of the following functions involving design, fabrication, installation, and refurbishment of equipment: preparation of material and process instructions, standards, manuals, and specifications; preparation, follow, and reporting of material development programs; materials engineering control of supplier welding, processing, and fabrication procedures; analysis of material conditions; troubleshooting; and assisting with in-service inspections and evaluations.
Experience Four to ten years.

Application of materials and processes, and welding in the design and fabrication of equipment. Preparation and interpretation of specifications and standards for metallic and nonmetallic materials and processes, and the metallurgy of materials to fabricate plant equipment or pressure vessels is desirable.
Degree B.S. in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or Welding Engineering (with an interest in physical metallurgy)

Preferred: M.S. or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or Welding Engineering (with an interest in physical metallurgy)
Travel Occasional (less than 10%)

U.S. citizenship required.   Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
