Environmental Engineer

Duties

Overall cognizance of all environmental matters for a valve test facility. Functions include implementing programs for controlling boiler air emissions, wastewater discharges, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal standards. Also responsible for implementing and managing programs for controlling, storing, and disposing of hazardous and potentially hazardous materials.

Experience 

 

Five years, minimum

Experience in environmental engineering or management, with familiarity in each of the following areas: Air emissions/Title V and FESOP permits, water discharge/NPDES permit, SPCC plans and handling/disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.

Degree

B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Engineering/Science or Environmental Management.

Travel

Periodic (10 to 20%) between test facility and home office.

 U.S. citizenship required.
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
