Contract Specialist

Duties

Overall lead for the business side of contract performance. Team with engineering to perform program management/contract administration and new placement duties which include, recommend bidders, issue inquiries, negotiate proposals, perform cost and price analysis, and prepare comprehensive letters to the customer to recommend contract actions; place contracts; monitor and maintain contract financial information; manage company and supplier communications; evaluate progress and take action to keep contracts on schedule, resolve contract issues, expedite supplier and company personnel; process, control, and maintain contract file documentation.

Experience 

Zero to ten years in contracts, purchasing, or related business.

Degree

B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Marketing

Travel

Limited (less than 5%)

 U.S. citizenship required.
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
