With more than 850 employees, BPMI has a vibrant culture. Throughout the year, the company hosts a variety of activities for employees and their families — picnics at local amusement parks, skiing, sporting events, and barbeques are just a few of the events organized by the Interest and Events Council. BPMI employees also believe in giving back to the community by volunteering time and offering donations to local organizations.

The Interest and Events Council hosts a variety of activities for employees and their families to enjoy year-round. Some of these activities include:

  • Company picnic/Kennywood day
  • After-hours employee socials and events
  • Various outings for employees and their families
  • Discounts on area activities/events (Idlewild, ski and golf memberships, etc.)
  • Sporting events and leagues

Community Involvement

BPMI is a good neighbor to the surrounding community through various initiatives sponsored by our Community Affairs Committee. Here’s a look at just some of those activities:

  • Rebuilding Together Day
  • United Way Fundraising Campaign and Day of Caring
  • American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days
  • American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day for Women
  • Blood drives
  • Food drives
  • Holiday angel tree
  • Holiday sweater drive
  • Employee and company contributions to various charitable and community groups
